How the get money out from your Google Adsense account?
So after running the Adsense over a year I got $40 to it. The click thru rate was so low (0.2%), earning only few cents per click and only ONE banner was showing so it could have taken a years for me to get this $100 to be earned. As there where lot of interest to advertise in my site directly and I could setup some affiliate banners running in my free dating community site, I ended up showing Google Adsense ads and expected this $40 to be return when closing an account. But it’s not so, Google just steals your hard earned money when you can’t earn enough from them.
Why people are using this kind of criminal business? And why lots of people are really fan of Google, I wonder why?
Anyway, changing to affiliate banners and setting up a system using free open source banner management software – RevSense now my click thru rates are at least normal 3-4% range. It’s still lower than using MobPartner on my mobile pages (6-7%), but something we could work on.
Being on both sides of Google (Adsense and Adwords), I’m much aware that Google’s commission between is 80%. So from 5 cent minimum bid for advertisers, content publisher will get 1 cent.
So what could make me better ads shown and better click thru rates for Adsense finally to get my money out there as I can’t get my $40 and just forget Google.
Google haven’t invented Internet, they where latecomers but somehow all those other latecomers went with it.
I could have tried with my blog but having this hosted on Wordpress.com I cant use ads here. Moving this blog, I could loose my visitors again so it was stupid idea to start a blog in this site at first place!!! But that time I never though that my blog gets more visitors than my mobile animations and I will get involved with Internet again.
Some quick study on webmasters forums and I find the answer – Free Internet Directories.
There are four different categories of those:
- Paid submission directories asking from $9-$50 per link
- Reciprocal link based earning Google PR for their directory
- Subcategory TopSites exchanging traffic between sites where you will be listed based on traffic you will sent them.
- Free ones
As for every those directory business model you will find free open source code and my objective was only to get enough Adsense clicks, I decided to setup a free directory hoping this way to get more traffic. Why would anyone willing to use those 1 and 2 category directories anymore?
When evaluating those open source platforms, Particlesoft Particlelinks looked nice and was a working product so decided to go live with it. The management interface was nice; it’s fully customizable including language terms and HTML templates and it was working software code ready to run.
After Admin login, I have the possibility the Accept/Deny new request, change categories and subcategories being on those pages.
Even I could have customized the UI to be more complex; I liked their Yahoo early days interface and put it online like that. The only time I spent was to create some of those categories to start as it could take some time when I will have thousands of links there.
And the main feature was RSS feeds so when registering new sites feed to Google, Yahoo and Feedburner (now owned by Google) anyone listing their site to my directory will get immediate Google and Yahoo attention. You can even subscribe new sites feed from http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Topwebcatcom-UndiscoveredInternetWebSiteDirectory
So this kind of feature will benefit any webmaster willing to list their site to my directory as we all know that feeds have now more priority getting higher positions on search results than any other technical work some SEO specialist can do on your website.
First I registered www.topwebworld.info domain name but unable to transfer it to my hosting, I changed it to www.topwebcat.com
So feel free to add your site to my Undiscovered Internet Websites Directory and find other sites (including those Google AdSense sites) to visit from there.
